President Biya of the Cameroun Republic will be in Buea on 20 February 2013 to celebrate 50 years of the independence/reunification of Cameroon, according to a press release from the Cameroun authorities.

Cameroun gained independence on 1 January 1961 from France. The country was reunited on 20 May 1972 after a peaceful revolution.
